SASS’s mission is to take our creativity, curiosity, and passion for design and push the boundaries of what was thought possible. We deliver high-quality hospitality, residential, and F&B interior designs for those who want to inspire.
Through our dedication to remaining fun-loving and spirited while keeping a reverence for the artistry of our craft, we create interior designs that reflect our client's individuality. We work with clients from all corners of the globe, creating a collaborative vision that tells their story.
We take care of our client’s project from conception to site management, so that each element of the interior is cohesive and completely unique. Sass studio seeks to deliver each client with elements of the unexpected, allowing them to be seen as leaders in their industry. Our designs are anything but ordinary, and we look forward to working with you to create a dynamic interior that surprises and delights.

Over the past 14 years, Sara Ali has been working successfully in hospitality and high- end residential interior design, catering mainly to luxury hotel brands and individuals. Eight of these years she spent as project director with HBA. Sara’s passion is to create unique and sophisticated designs that reflect her client’s vision and needs. She loves to create the story behind the design and turn a space into an experience based on the respect for the space’s identity and the space’s host.
Along with her professional experience, Sara Ali draws from her Egyptian roots, her upbringing in Sweden and her Master’s studies in Florence/Italy when understanding her client’s needs and envisioning the architecture and interior of a space. Absorbing this diversity has proven immensely valuable in a wide variety of projects all over the world, including public and private spaces. It has helped her to express each project’s identity with a sense of place, leaving those who move within these spaces with strong memories.
Sara and her team are experienced in a wide range of projects, tasks, responsibilities and scales, and are dedicated to excellence from concept stage to completion. More than this, Sara believes in human connection and trusting relationships with the people she works with and considers these an integral part in creating outstanding experiences
Meet Our Team
Rana Meligui
An Egyptian born interior designer and holds 5 years of experience in Hospitality design, high-end residential. Her projects include several five star hotels, and high end villas throughout Middle east and Africa. Her experience involves conceptual design, FF&E design and selection, design development, documentation and coordination. Rana considers every project unique & inspiring to work on as every client’s requirements is individual, creating new challenges in every project that she has worked in Rana holds a bachelor degree in product design from Applied sciences and arts faculty at the German University in Cairo (2018).
